Spread your wings!

Hello everone!

Recently I did another mixed media with 3D elements and lots of textures, here it is

These lovely textures are created using crackle medium, metallic paints, cardboard pieces, metal embellishments, plastic bottle & flowers.

These are the supplies used from Little Birdie from Itsy Bitsy, an Indian craft store.

That was all for today, hope you liked it...

"Live the Life You've Imagined"

Hello everyone,

I am back with another mixed media project, today I am sharing a reverse canvas made with lots of textures and other crafty stuff, have a look

I clicked few pictures while I was making it, that will show you how I started,

Gave a coat of white gesso to the canvas and a left over tape roll. Then applied a generous layer of crackle medium and finally a coat of chalk paint.

For the pattern paper to stuck inside the canvas, I used Colour Splashes in pink & blue shades and applied texture paste using stencils.

Gave a coat of crackle medium to tape roll too.

Finally highlighted few areas with metallic paint.

Also highlighted the flowers using metallic paints. I have added a die cut design to the tape roll, with sentiment & sequins.

I bought this small bird cage an year ago from  a local craft store but I am happy I used it today on this project as a tea light holder.
All these pretty blooms and texture mediums are from Itsy Bitsy

I hope you liked my project, do share with me your views.

Chase Your Dreams

Hello Friends,

Wishing you all a great start for this new year!

I am so glad to share my handmade flowers with this new project, on this bright canvas background...

These flowers are handmade! Aren't they looking gorgeous?
These are made up of thin foam sheets. Beautiful curling has been done using hot iron.

Orange flowers are made using Tim Holtz tattered florals die and blue ones using sunrise lily die from Heartfelt Creations.

Stencil and wooden embellishments are from The Craft Studio.

This lovely background was hand painted using Itsy Bitsy chalk paint "sailing sky", colour splash "ocean mist" and white gesso.
