Indian Craft Room - Blog Hop - Embossing

Hello everyone,

It's time for an exciting Blog Hop on Indian Craft Room for the month of December 2016.
Theme is "Anything Goes with Embossing- Wet or Dry"

Here is my creation

I have used both wet and dry embossing on my card. I love adding some dimension and here too I have added some layers.

The top pattern paper is stamped with flowers and leaves using Jane's Doodles stamp set & then heat embossed with white embossing powder. Striped black lines were created using a sketch pen. Added all the layers along with some twine.
For the sentiment I have used a puffy sticker on black cardstock.

For the bottom I used embossing folder from Itsy Bitsy to get this beautiful butterfly embossed design. Then added some color splatters to it.

Finally added some rhinestones and a glittery foam strip to add some shine and spark since the sentiment says celebrate! :)

Hope you like it! Do share with me, I love to read what you say!

Fall in love with Fall!

Hello Friends,

It is the month of December! The year is coming to an end and it seems it passed so quickly! And we shall be entering another New year with new hopes, ideas & more crafty fun!

Today I have prepared a layout on fall theme for current month's ICR challenge, theme is Anything goes with mixed media!

To create the background I started with inks to get the colors of fall, then stenciled leaves using Itsy Bitsy stencil set. Also stenciled damask design using texture paste. The pattern papers I used here are from Papericious, If only pack. They co-ordinated so well with my layout.

Some close up pics...

I love these beautiful felt leaves, bought from local craft store. Added some twigs with berries, a bow made with natural twine and a cute little metal heart. Chevron sheet is also from Itsy Bitsy.

Added some glass beads and tiny sparkle dots to create more texture.

Hope you all liked it! Do share with me and don't forget to visit ICR to views some wonderful mixed media projects prepared by my fellow design team members.

Stay happy! Have a Great day!

Mini Mixed Media Frame

Hi Friends,

Hope you all are doing well and enjoying the light winter days. Today I am sharing a mini mixed media frame which I made few days back,

It's a mini MDF frame and measures just 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches.
I started by covering the background with Graceful Lattice die cut from Peek-a-boo Designs. Then gave it a coat of gesso and colored it in gold, copper & pearl green shades.

Added some mulberry mica flakes and copper micro beads.

Some other embellishments and details in gold.

Stamped flowers with some shimmer.

Hope you like it, do share with me :)
Thanks for visiting!
Have a great day!

Fold Back Pop Up Card

Hello everyone!

I am back with the second inspiration for Indian Craft Room Coasteride Challenge. Theme is Ribbons & Pearls plus twist is to make a Fancy fold card!

Here is what I made for the challenge, a fold back pop up card.

All flowers are handmade using Tim Holtz Tattered florals dies. I used felt to make them. Added felt leaves and few punched paper leaves.
For the triangular corners, I decided to use this gold-bronze filigree with few pearls, which gave it a complete elegant look.

Hidden sentiment at the center says "So many of my SMILES begin with you"

Here is the mood board prepared by our team

We hope you're inspired by it & will join us with your creations! You have until 28th November midnight to join in.

Fancy Fold Card with Ribbons and Pearls

Hello Friends,

It's festive season going on everywhere and I hope you all are enjoying it!

It's my turn to host the challenge for Indian Craft Room for November month. My chosen theme is "Ribbons and Pearls plus twist is to make a Fancy Fold Card"

Here is my card

A Building Block Pop up card.

For the background I started with a white card stock and painted it in shades of lilac and rose pink. Did some random stenciling and stamping. For the bow I used 3 organza ribbons, all brought from local craft store. It took me little hard to keep them in place but then managed well and I loved the end result!
Then arranged all the other embellishments.

Tiny chipboard alphabets, I covered them in white gesso & white glitter but my camera couldn't capture the shine..

I hope you liked my project! Would love to hear from you about my creation!

And don't forget to stop at ICR to view other gorgeous inspirations from my team members and to join & participate! Yes I would love to see your projects :)

Thank you so much for visiting!

Have a great day!

You are Awesome!

Hi Friends!

How are you all doing? I'am writing after a long time due to my bad health, now recovering.. but couldn't stop myself from creating something new. So I made a card today and now sharing with you all.

And then the challenges further motivated me to make something!

Here is my card..

Made the background with inks, water splatters, colour splatters, stamping and heat embossing.

Look at these blooms & leaves made with Mudra botanical blooms stamp set. Aren't these looking pretty? Just loved them! I added some glitter dust to the layers to enhance their beauty.
Sentiment tag too hold some glitter dust!

Added a glittery golden border using gold washi tape.

Heat embossed butterfly fluttering on the coloured background.

This gorgeous diecut is from Peek-a-boo Designs, heat embossed with clear EP to add some gloss & shine.

I hope you like my card! Do share with me :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a Great day!
